Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Manager overseeing financial operations for two environmentally focused companies.

One specializes in waste management and portable sanitation services, while the other provides comprehensive tree services, including removal and trimming.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 24 bookkeepers, ensuring efficient operations and accurate financial reporting across both business units.
• Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and monthend closing activities.
• Utilize industryspecific software such as QuickBooks, ArborGold for tree management, and Navusoft for waste management.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses tailored to our industryspecific needs, such as cost analysis for waste management operations and profitability analysis for tree service projects.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Develop internal control policies tailored to the operational aspects of waste management and tree services.
• Forecast financial trends with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency and sustainability.
• Mentor and develop team members in financial expertise specific to our industries.
• Report directly to the General Managers and the President.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven managerial experience in accounting, preferably in environmental services, waste management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
• A strong commitment to environmental sustainability and business ethics.

What We Offer:

• Salary range: $75,000 $90,000, with opportunities for increased compensation as the company grows.
