    Role Description

    Junior Software Engineer

    Full-Time | Remote

    As a Junior Software Engineer at ThinkQueue, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. This is a full-time, remote role where you will collaborate with seasoned engineers and other team members to design and implement scalable and efficient systems. You will have the opportunity to write clean, maintainable code, debug and resolve issues, and actively participate in improving our software development processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions
    • Collaborate with the team to design scalable and efficient systems
    • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
    • Debug and resolve software issues
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
    • Assist in improving the software development process
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
    • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
    • Experience with back-end web development and programming
    • Familiarity with software testing and debugging techniques
    • Ability to work independently and remotely
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Good communication and collaboration skills
    • Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus

    Preferred Skills:

    • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
    • Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL
    • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
    • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
