The content of your dual studies:

  • Fundamental knowledge of overall vehicle development as well as design knowledge in the development of interior/exterior or body shell
  • Skills in working with a 3D CAD program as well as comprehensive knowledge of materials, applied manufacturing processes, and joining techniques
  • Independent product development, i.e. creating initial concept sketches, design and coordination with involved development departments

Your path to becoming a graduate*:

  • The integrated training program begins with a two-year apprenticeship as a Technical Product Designer* and a several-month-long familiarization period, during which you get to know the company, your contacts, and other apprentices.
  • Afterwards, your dual studies begin at the Dual University of Stuttgart
