Your additional responsibilities as a Research Engineer will include:

Laboratory support for outside Polyurethane Systems Division
Maintain organized files and manage project timelines
Support new business opportunities through production trials at customer sites
Formulate and support manufacturing for production of polyurethane systems at internal Chemical Blending sites
Work with process engineers to operate largescale equipment for product scaleup testing
Create and maintain technical data for new or modified products
Work with other team members on collaborative projects
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Materials Science with appropriate coursework or experience involving polymers
5+ years of technical industry experience in polymer or material science discipline
Formulation knowledge of polyurethane foams and polyurethane elastomers
Experience formulating integral skin foam, engineered/technical foam, and automotive foams, preferred
Mechanical aptitude with good verbal/written communication skills
Up to 50 percent travel is required
