Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a public health setting.

This position works under the supervision of a dentist and is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:


  • Preparing patients for dental procedures
  • Taking and developing dental Xrays
  • Cleaning and polishing teeth
  • Instructing patients on oral hygiene
  • Maintaining dental records

Dental Assistant Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • State or National Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
  • Xray Certification
  • At least one year of experience working in a dental setting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • State Driver's License and clean driving record
