As an Analyst on the Debt Capital Market (DCM) and Syndicate team at National Bank Financial Markets, you will support and contribute to the continued expansion of our team based in New York.

In this role, you will be given the opportunity to put forward your entrepreneurial and effective communication skills, work collaboratively with the wider global DCM team and gain exposure to a mix of business and systems development.


Your role

  • Responsible for DCM and Syndicate pitches, risk management and related DCM derivatives
  • Preparing presentation materials supporting our clients' capital decisionmaking
  • Performing various tasks supporting senior team members in their deal execution and client coverage efforts
  • Building long termrelationships by providing investment advice to clients, including relevant market information
  • Ensure that all transactions are correctly reflected in the Bank's systems and properly reported
  • Ensure that credit policies are always respected, and that supporting documentation is in place
  • Attend various conferences on behalf of the team

Your Team


You will be part of the International Sovereigns Supranationals and Agencies (SSA) finance business team reporting to the Managing Director and Head.

This business focuses on Debt Capital Market services for the SSA clients around the globe including advising on funding opportunities, investor relations work, and syndication of debt transactions.

The SSA clients include Supra Sovereign, Agency, and Public Sector Entities.


Basic Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field to the sector of activity
  • Minimum of one year of applicable capital markets, investment banking, or corporate finance work experience
  • Strong mathematical skills, superior analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work in a team and under pressure

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base salary range for this position is : $ $ USD/year.

This position is eligible for variable compensation also.
