Description

From:

  • You will take on tasks of operational purchasing for the location/region
  • You will obtain order confirmations and take care of avoiding delivery delays and eliminating bottlenecks
  • You will ensure timely escalation regarding delivery reliability
  • You will maintain material master data in SAP to optimize order size in terms of cost, availability, range and inventory turnover
  • You will ensure that suppliers maintain stocks in line with forecasts (kanban stock) to enable availability taking into account technical changes
  • You will ensure that the supplier delivers according to an optimal supply system/logistics model
  • You will maintain intensive communication and coordinate with relevant internal & external stakeholders (e.g. CM, logistics, SQ, F2F, NPI, ECP,...)
  • You will ensure compliance requirements are met
  • You will analyze supplier performance in terms of logistics criteria and implement corrective measures in case of deviations from the target
  • You will analyze and process purchase requisitions, delivery schedules, etc. and their professional handling/application
  • You will be responsible for invoice verification / clarification of price and quantity deviations (including damage & loss)
