Across the country, underprivileged children on the Autism Spectrum are growing up without access to resources that will provide them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Momentum Behavior Services (MBS) was created to fill these gaps in care by providing personalized ABA Therapy serving children and their families in
Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.
In addition to ABA services, MBS provides children with a wide menu of services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy, Counseling, Assistive Technology and Transitional/Vocational services.
Requirements:
- Active & unencumbered BCBA Certification
- New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
- NYCDOE Fingerprinting on file or ability to do so before onboarding
- 3+ years of home
- Provision of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services with highquality, evidencebased behavior analytic services in accordance with training as a certified BCBA/LBA and in accordance with the BACB Code of Ethics.
- Availability to provide services/supervision of RBTs assigned to cases for pushin ABA services in public and private classroom settings and in home services, representing MBS positively as a collaborative professional
- Provide direct services of Parent Counseling & Training
- Experience administering and interpreting a variety of clinical assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS, etc.)
- Design & Analyze datadriven behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with parents, behavioral therapists, and clinical care team to improve client outcomes
- Ability to speak fluently using ABA terminology and also have the ability to simplify for nonbehavioral audiences
- Ability to provide/supervise the provide the full scope of services required by their client in: (1) Discrete Trial Training; (2) Naturalistic Environment Teaching; (3) Training in Adaptive Daily Living Skills across home, school, and community settings.
- Incorporating behavioral skills training and specific performance feedback while ensuring clinical integrity of the programs in a home/school setting
- Excellent clinical judgment
- Excellent attention to detail & strong organizational skills
- Ability to build strong, supportive relationships
- Excellent professional writing skills
- Create, modify and monitor programming and behavior intervention plans
- Continuously analyze data and implement program changes as needed
- Maintain client data and materials in an organized and uptodate manner
- Collaborate and consult with Executive Director, parents and any related service providers/ school personnel, as needed
- Maintain consistent and respectful communication
- Send regular updates to parent/caregiver
- Potentially testify in impartial hearings with the guidance of our Executive Director
