As the engines of the Institute, the Residence Counselors & Mentors (RCMs) are responsible for ensuring students' safety and well-being, as well as managing and overseeing the Institute's day


Requirements:


  • Minimum: juniors or seniors at undergraduate colleges/universities with a desire for postundergraduate study. College graduates, current graduate school students or postgraduate school students are welcomed.
  • 3.0 Overall GPA
  • All majors welcomed
  • Experience with residential life and/or experience working with middle school aged children and older highly preferred.
  • Residential stay in a Princeton University dormitory is required.
  • Proof of COVID19 vaccination and updated bivalent booster required.
  • Background check will be required.
  • Compensation for this position ranges from $3,000$3,600.

Program Dates:
June 19-July 27 (includes staff orientation)


Location/Residency:

RCMs will be working for the W.E.B. DuBois Scholars Institute, a non-profit organization hosted at Princeton University. Each RCM will have a room in a dorm on campus at Princeton University. RCMs will be living in the dorm building with student participants of the program as well as other RCM's/staff.

June 19th to July 27, 2024. This includes staff orientation. Interested parties should submit a cover letter and CV/resume. Resumes will be reviewed until the positions are filled. A virtual interview will be conducted for semi-finalists. References will be requested.

$3, $3,600.00 per month
