Job Summary:

Nutrition Services Assistants prepare and serve food to our students in a high school or middle school. Nutrition Services Assistants provide our students with nutritious meals which directly supports student learning.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Valid food handler card for San Diego County.

You can take on
online class to obtain the card.

La Costa Canyon High School - Monday - Friday 10:45 am - 1:15 pm

Pacific Trail Middle School - Monday - Friday 9:45 am - 1:00 pm

Pacific Trail Middle School - Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 12:45 pm

Canyon Crest Academy - Monday - Friday 9:4- 1:00 pm

Oak Crest Middle School - Monday - Friday 11:00 am to 1 pm

Employment with SDUHSD is contingent upon successful completion of post-offer background check, fingerprinting, physical exam including tuberculosis, drug and alcohol screening, and an Oath of Allegiance.

Please note that our agency receives federal funding and must adhere to federal regulations; results which indicate marijuana use will be considered non-passing.

Probationary period for a new or promotional employee is six months or 130 days of paid service, whichever is longer.

Management employees serve a probationary period of one year.
