- Process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment using the ERP system (Syteline) and shipping software.
- Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse space, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and managing storage space.
- Communicate with internal teams to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve shipping-related issues or delays.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to optimize shipping processes, improve efficiency, and meet shipping deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Prior experience working in a shipping or warehouse environment, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably Syteline, and shipping software to process orders and manage shipments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipping documents, labels, and orders.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet shipping deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Good communication skills to interact with carriers, internal teams, and other warehouse personnel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and requirements, including hazardous materials handling and international shipping procedures, is a plus.
