    Job DescriptionDescription:

    The Shipping Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the logistics operations for Synapse ITS and its affiliated brands. This position involves managing the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers and distribution centers. The Shipping Clerk will work closely with the shipping team and other departments to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

    Requirements:
    • Process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment using the ERP system (Syteline) and shipping software.
    • Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
    • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and requirements.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
    • Organize and maintain the warehouse space, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
    • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and managing storage space.
    • Communicate with internal teams to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve shipping-related issues or delays.
    • Collaborate with the shipping team to optimize shipping processes, improve efficiency, and meet shipping deadlines.
    • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Prior experience working in a shipping or warehouse environment, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
    • Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably Syteline, and shipping software to process orders and manage shipments.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipping documents, labels, and orders.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet shipping deadlines.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
    • Good communication skills to interact with carriers, internal teams, and other warehouse personnel.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with shipping regulations and requirements, including hazardous materials handling and international shipping procedures, is a plus.
