Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
• Implement behavior management strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and progress
• Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Experience:

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Familiarity with nursing home or healthcare systems is a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient care standards
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with special needs
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors
