Job Summary and Qualifications:

As a NICU Registered Nurse (RN), you will work with pediatricians and physicians to provide care to newborn babies specifically preterm babies and infants up to the age of two years.

You will also introduce new mothers to caring for their newborns and you may give additional care to mothers and infants who've undergone cesarean section procedures.

What you will do in this role:

Utilize the nursing process in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Provide, assist, and supervise direct nursing care to patients, in accordance with physicians' orders.
Recognize nursing techniques, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate's degree or higher.
Current BLS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
One or more years of experience as a Level III NICU RN.
Current National Neonatal High-Risk Nursing and STABLE certifications preferred.
