    The Senior Director, Office of Sponsored Programs is responsible for the following main functions: overseeing all operational aspects of the pre-award services and compliance, in collaboration with Director of SPA ensuring pre- and post- award compliance with federal and state policies and regulations, maintaining RSP website and a pre- & post-award newsletter, & in collaboration with Director of SPA providing direction and cross-training of the pre- and post- award support personnel and student assistants.


    Under general direction of the Associate Vice President, Faculty Affairs and Development, the Executive Assistant will perform coordination of the entire clerical and administrative support functions for the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development, ensuring that office operations are successfully completed.

    Under general supervision, this position provides clerical and administrative support to front desk services for the Office of the Registrar, as well as for the Records and Registration units.

    This position assists the student population with various Office of the Registrar services, primarily with myCoyote and records and registration processes.

    Project Coordinators for the CAE Community will be responsible for a variety of tasks required to host and market events, both virtually and in person

    Marketing Coordination:


    The Marketing Coordinator collaborates closely with program and project managers to craft the organization's marketing strategy, guiding it from conceptualization to implementation.

    They assist in formulating budget proposals and securing funding for marketing endeavors.

    With a creative flair, they conceptualize marketing collateral such as flyers, social media posts, and digital communications, ensuring content aligns with audience expectations.

    By developing detailed audience profiles, they tailor targeted marketing campaigns to specific groups, effectively promoting events and enhancing the company's brand presence.


    Event Coordination:


    Coordinating all aspects of events such as venue selection, contract negotiation, and logistics management; developing comprehensive event plans, timelines, and budgets; promoting events through various channels and managing registration processes; serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and partners; collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution; and conducting post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.

    Requires travel (estimated at 5-8 trips per year).

    Under the general direction of the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) Dean and the general supervision of the CSBS Assistant Dean of Student Success, the CSBS College Interventionist & Retention Counselor assist with the CSBS Student Success Center's day-to-day operations, coordinates student services within the College, and performs a variety of complex and/or sensitive professional student service work that involve multifaceted concerns from preadmission to the university through graduation.

    Collaborate with other campus departments including relevant units in Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, such as Academic Success and Undergraduate Advising (ASUA), the Career Center, CSBS Writing and Statistics Lab, Office of the Registrar, Counseling & Psychological Services, Campus Assessment, Response and Education (CARE) Team, Services for Students with Disabilities, etc.

    Work is performed independently and under the general direction of the Associate Vice President, serve as the Administrative Support Coordinator for the Faculty Center for Excellence and its constituent units, including the Teaching Resource Center, the Faculty Mentoring Program, Academic Technologies and Instructional Design, the Extended Reality for Learning [xREAL] Lab, the Affordable Learning Solutions Program, the High-Performance Computing Program.

    Primary responsibilities include providing administrative and analytic support for the Faculty Center for Excellence (FCE) and its constituent units by coordinating, identifying, and delegating complex project needs including but not limited to: event coordination, fielding inquiries, timekeeping for staff, budget management, and coordination of administrative support services for the office.

    The incumbent will perform the following core tasks: undergraduatecounseling both academic and non-academic; data collection and analysis, outreach and success coaching for students; regular and effectivecommunication with colleges, academic departments in the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) and student services offices around the campus; and plan and execute student success campaigns.

    Also, help with recruitingstudents from community colleges and help with their successful transition toCSUSB. The over-arching goal is to promote student success outcomesincluding retention, timely degree progress, and graduation.

    Under general direction, the Grants Development Specialist will assist faculty and staff with complex or critical programs such as seeking extramural funding opportunities by assisting with proposal preparation, review and submission; reviewing of award and related documents; formulating, issuing, negotiating and finalizing agreements.

    Present and contribute to workshops offered by departments. Assess, formulate, and provide website content and assist with other administrative operations of department.

    Under the supervision of the Executive Director, Student Engagement and Completion, this position is responsible for providing support to Palm Desert Campus orientation, Transfer Program, and Collaboration efforts between Palm Desert Campus and San Bernardino orientation and transition Programs teams.

    The Chatbot Communication Consultant will independently meet with campus constituents to assess the quality of existing answers, design conversation flow diagrams, anticipate new and developing questions, and consider newly developing answers for the CSUSB Ask Cody chatbot.

    As a Business Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing our business processes and driving efficiency across various departments.

    You will analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, implement best practices, and improve overall performance.
    Provide CVWBC consulting, training, and information services in the regionto pre-venture, start-up, small and medium size businesses. Maintain clientdatabase by preparing detailed written assessment and make recommendationsfor improvements. Keep abreast of business trends, techniques, and processes.
    Work collaboratively with peers and the business community to expandexpertise. Community outreach responsibilities will include publicpresentations to key stakeholders and service on appropriate boards andcommittees related to economic development. Complete all forms andmaintain client files as required by the SBA. Document information,assistance, and outcomes of sessions with clients related to consulting andtraining activities performed by the consultant. Provide Center with timelyreports related to milestones and success stories of client's economicoutcomes. Individual must conduct own lead generation through creatingpartnerships with cities, chambers of commerce, business associations, etc tofind clients.

    Under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Assistance in Learning (SAIL), indirect supervision of the Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Student Success & Education Equity, and lead of SAIL's Analyst, the Administrative Support Assistant will provide general administrative, clerical, and programming support for SAIL.

    Under general supervision of the Director of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) in collaboration with the Director of Admissions of Operations & Systems, the Student Services Professional II position is responsible for performing moderately complex professional student service work in that assignments typically require the application of both knowledge and judgment in using the principles, techniques, standards, guides and professional skills characteristic of a particular student service program or activity


    This position requires:

    both interviewing and counseling techniques; judgment to recommend solutions to problems and changes in program procedures; and acting as spokesperson within the area of expertise.

    Under the supervision of the Director, the Program Coordinator(s) will be responsible for supporting the recruitment, placement and oversight of Fellows and the ongoingoperations of the College Corps Program.

    Full time position reports to the IESBDC Director and will coordinate and market small business training events, assist in program development, manage training and client databases, and provide program reporting results.

    Inland Empire SBDC training program encompasses approximately events each calendar year.

    Training events are held at all full time SBDC offices in Riverside, San Bernardino, and at 13 outreach offices in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

    The newly created Entrepreneurial Resource Center (ERC) program, operated by CSUSB's Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE), provides an easily accessible hub for small business support services, strategically located in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

    Each ERC delivers a wide range of business counseling and training programs through established IECE programs such as the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (IESBDC) and Women's Business Centers (WBC) to support startups and existing businesses.

    In addition, each ERC has "Affiliate Partners" working collaboratively with IECE and its programs.

    These are non-CSUSB entrepreneurial support organizations that provide specific training and technical assistance to support small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Inland Southern California region at each ERC location.

    Under general direction of the Executive Director of Risk Management, the Workers' Compensation & Loss Control Program Manager exercises independent judgement and manages California State University San Bernardino workers' compensation program, temporary return to work, and loss control programs under the authority of the California State University Risk Management Authority (CSURMA) Joint Powers entity and system-wide risk management and in close coordination with CSUSB's Third Party Administrator, Human Resources and the Environmental Health and Safety Office.

    Under the general direction of the Director of Parking & Transportation, Community Service Specialist I receive day-to-day work direction from a Lead Community Service Specialist II.

    The incumbent is often the first presence a visitor will encounter when coming to campus and they play a critical role in supporting the mission of University Police Department and the University as a whole.

    Community Service Specialist performs standard duties related to patrolling campus buildings, facilities and parking lots; enforcing established rules and regulations by taking the appropriate actions; and performing related community support functions.

    Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE), the Director of Extended Education Programs is responsible for providing development and support of the oversight of the Professional and Continuing Education portfolio.
