Event Coordination:

Under the general direction of the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) Dean and the general supervision of the CSBS Assistant Dean of Student Success, the CSBS College Interventionist & Retention Counselor assist with the CSBS Student Success Center's day-to-day operations, coordinates student services within the College, and performs a variety of complex and/or sensitive professional student service work that involve multifaceted concerns from preadmission to the university through graduation.
Collaborate with other campus departments including relevant units in Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, such as Academic Success and Undergraduate Advising (ASUA), the Career Center, CSBS Writing and Statistics Lab, Office of the Registrar, Counseling & Psychological Services, Campus Assessment, Response and Education (CARE) Team, Services for Students with Disabilities, etc.
Work is performed independently and under the general direction of the Associate Vice President, serve as the Administrative Support Coordinator for the Faculty Center for Excellence and its constituent units, including the Teaching Resource Center, the Faculty Mentoring Program, Academic Technologies and Instructional Design, the Extended Reality for Learning [xREAL] Lab, the Affordable Learning Solutions Program, the High-Performance Computing Program.
Primary responsibilities include providing administrative and analytic support for the Faculty Center for Excellence (FCE) and its constituent units by coordinating, identifying, and delegating complex project needs including but not limited to: event coordination, fielding inquiries, timekeeping for staff, budget management, and coordination of administrative support services for the office.

Under general direction of the Executive Director of Risk Management, the Workers' Compensation & Loss Control Program Manager exercises independent judgement and manages California State University San Bernardino workers' compensation program, temporary return to work, and loss control programs under the authority of the California State University Risk Management Authority (CSURMA) Joint Powers entity and system-wide risk management and in close coordination with CSUSB's Third Party Administrator, Human Resources and the Environmental Health and Safety Office.
