THE POSITION
As the
Marketing Manager, you'll be the creative powerhouse behind our strategic communication efforts.

Your mission is to blend creativity, problem-solving skills, and storytelling flair to promote cord blood donation/banking and research and development to ensure our audience stays informed, engaged, and connected.

Through your outreach initiatives, you'll simplify complex information, design visually appealing content, and foster meaningful dialogue to our target customers, including transplant centers / hospitals, physicians and patients.

JOB DUTIES

  • Assist in the strategic direction of creative content in the areas of video production, photography, graphic design, social media, writing, and analytics.
  • Create dynamic and engaging communication materials consistent with the our Branding Guidelines
  • Prepare, design, create and produce graphic materials (e.g., advertisements, fliers, brochures, booklets, etc.) and digital media for printing or posting; format and arrange data; size documents as necessary; prepare materials for printing and distribution.
  • Administer, and update the Company's website and social media (YouTube, Instagram Facebook, etc.) accounts and content; post newsletters and various other information relevant to the public; respond to comments and inquiries.
  • Prioritize, plan and layout text and art work; select type style and size, fonts, spacing of letters and text lines, placement and size and type of photos, videos and art work to be used according to staff specifications.
  • Research, write, proofread, and edit a variety of medical materials, including social media captions, news articles, web copy, press releases, newsletters, articles, brochures, and reports.
  • Take complex assignments and carry them through from initial concept to finished communications materials or events, utilizing sound judgment of communications principles, sometimes with minimum direction and supervision.
  • Has effective time management skills, a high tolerance for multitasking, and ability to handle lastminute changes in assignments.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and a proven ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed, to accommodate community events and outreach efforts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


At least (3) years of professional graphic art design experience and experience in social media or public relations involving writing content for information purposes.

A bachelor's degree with coursework in journalism, graphic art, communcations, or a related area. _
Working experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment is highly preferred._


LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE
Valid Class C California Driver License and acceptable driving record.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


Work is primarily performed in a standard office setting and requires: the use of standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone; the ability to perform work that is primarily sedentary, although standing in and walking between work areas may be required; finger dexterity to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment; occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information; lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling materials and objects weighing up to 25 pounds.


Pay:
$75, $79,955.00 per year
