Then becoming an Orthopedic Medical Sales Representative with MedInc of Texas may be the right career path for youWe are currently offering a $1,000 sign on bonus to all new member of our Sales TeamOur Orthopedic Medical Sales Representatives get to work firsthand with surgeons in the operating room consulting on the safe and effective use of Arthrex implants and instruments.

    Employees are set up on an intense training and development plan from day one and continue throughout their employment with MedInc of Texas.

    We have a dedicated Medical Education Team that works in conjunction with Arthrex Corporate to properly train and develop employees through hands-on trainings and courses.

    With the constant change and innovation in medical technology there are always new products and techniques to learn.

    MedInc of Texas exclusively serves Houston and South Texas, while representing Arthrex, a global medical device company developing innovative and minimally invasive orthopedic products and education.

    Represent MedInc of Texas, an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.

    Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
    Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships and by developing and implementing sales strategiesCommunicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programsImplement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectivesIdentify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone, and face-to-face)Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become availableAddress any problems that arise at the accountSupport compliance and principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state, and local laws & regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & proceduresWork with Sales Manager by receiving coaching, training, or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when neededMaintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applicationsCollect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer and competitive trendsParticipate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as requiredKnowledgeKnowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology as it specifically relates to ArthrexKnowledge of Operating Room protocols and proceduresProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and proceduresSkills & AbilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent public speaking skillsAbility to interact in a professional and courteous manner with clients, doctors, and staff at all timesAbility to work collaboratively within a team as well as individuallyHighly organized and detail oriented in all assignmentsStrong follow through skillsAbility to work independently and interact with all levels of managementAccuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail are requiredAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationAbility to exercise good judgment and discretionStrong negotiation and closing skillsStrong sense of urgencyStrong multi-tasking skills; must manage responsibilities under strict deadlinesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree requiredDemonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine marketRequired to maintain vendor credentialing for assigned territoryAbility to remain calm and professional in a surgery/ operating room environmentMust be able to travel within assigned territory as requiredPhysical Requirements & Working ConditionsAbility to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basisMust be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods of timeMoving around to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to anotherBenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceLife and AD&D Insurance401(k) PlanExtensive Medical Education Training ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramPerformance BonusPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
