Make Cologne more livable
A powerful transportation infrastructure is a prerequisite for the success of a modern society. Mobility demands of people and businesses in a city of millions like Cologne place high demands on transportation systems and processes. A high-performance transportation network includes not only comprehensive public transportation, but also a variety of engineering structures such as roads and pedestrian bridges, tunnel structures, noise barriers, underground and aboveground light rail systems, elevated railway lines, and water structures.
The Department of Bridges, Tunnels, and Light Rail Construction is seeking to fill a permanent position as a Civil Engineer (m/f/d) for the planning and implementation of light rail projects in the Light Rail Division as soon as possible. As a project engineer, you can expect attractive tasks with the opportunity to lead significant public transportation projects for the city of Cologne from the initial planning phase to construction and completion.
The position will primarily involve working on the Cologne subway flood protection project.
