    Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
    Job Duration: 06 months Contract on W2
    Job Location: Wilsonville, OR 97070


    Note: US Citizen or Permanent Residents/Green Card Holder required for this position

    Job Summary

    • The primary responsibility for this position is to work with our mechanical engineering team in developing new solutions and supporting existing test solutions at the Wilsonville, OR site.
    • This position will heavily utilize development and debug skills for the development of mechanical interfaces and components used on multi-rack automated test stations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing designs, documentation modification, production support
    • Contribute to the success of a cross-functional team to develop solutions to production and field-testing problems. This could include initial design, prototyping, and environment testing solutions.
    • Develop and review product designs, analyze development, and design requirements.
    • Design of test fixtures, cables, interconnects, and associated documentation
    • Perform tolerance analysis.
    • Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management, and customers.
    • Plan and manage tasks effectively.
    • Specific tasks include enclosure structural design, thermal, vibration, other environmental considerations, design verification, prototype build and production transition to the factory.
    • Perform assignments requiring the use and application of moderate to complex mechanical engineering principles and techniques.

    Skills Required:

    • Must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
    • At least 3-5 years in related field Must be detail oriented.
    • Must be able to excel in a team environment where the individual will interact with various engineering teams comprised of other mechanical engineers, mechanical drafters, electrical engineers, software engineers and system engineers.
    • Must have excellent working knowledge with Solidworks,
    • Must have excellent working knowledge with NX Designer
    • Must have excellent working knowledge with 3D printing.
    • Must have excellent working knowledge with AutoCAD, or similar design tools.
    • Must have experience working in production.
    • Must be capable of performing mechanical design and analysis to meet system requirements.
    • Must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
