job summary:

A Senior Mechanical Engineer is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Wilsonville, OR area.

This position involves developing, designing, and supporting mechanical interfaces and components for multi-rack automated test stations, requiring expertise in CAD software, 3D printing, and production, along with problem-solving and collaboration skills.

responsibilities:
Developing designs, documentation modification, production support.

Contributing to cross-functional team success in solving production and field testing problems.

Developing and reviewing product designs, analyzing development and design requirements.

Designing test fixtures, cables, interconnects, and associated documentation.

Performing tolerance analysis.

Preparing and presenting project/technical information to peers, internal management, and customers.

Planning and managing tasks effectively.

Skills:
Detail-oriented.

Ability to excel in a team environment.

Excellent working knowledge with SolidWorks.

Excellent working knowledge with NX Designer.

Excellent working knowledge with 3D printing.

Excellent working knowledge with AutoCAD or similar design tools.

Experience working in production.

Capability of performing mechanical design and analysis to meet system requirements.
