Responsibilities:


As an Acquisition Program Analyst with
MTSI you will provide support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) within the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)).

This position will be in Washington, DC at the Pentagon. This position will be located in Arlington, VA at the Pentagon.

Your essential job functions will include but will not be limited to:

  • Provide acquisition oversight and review of JCIDS requirements documents focused on Strategic systems.
  • Support USD(A&S) in his role as chair of Defense Acquisition Boards (DABs).
  • Supports SSIPM acquisition oversight and portfolio management activity including working groups and integrated product teams.
  • Develops issue papers and presentations for senior department executives.
  • Reviews and drafts congressional testimony, briefings, and reports.
  • Reviews acquisition documents, policy, and briefings
  • Prepares reada heads, talking points, supports program reviews, and develops recommendations.
  • Interface with Services and OSD Agencies
  • Participate in reviews, studies, analysis of alternatives, and coordinate initiatives across external offices and agencies.

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience with the Defense Acquisition System
  • 5+ years of experience with nuclear weapons and weapon systems at the operational or programmatic level.
  • Willingness for occasional travel (may be required (less than 10%))

Desired Requirements:


  • Experience as a DoD Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager
  • Experience supporting the LRSO or ALCM programs.
  • OSD, Joint Staff, and/or Service Staff experience.
  • Knowledge of the OUSD(A&S) organization, roles, and responsibilities.

Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or a higher level of education.

Certifications Requirements:


  • DAWIA Level II or higher certification(s).

Clearance Requirements:


  • TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Special Access Program eligibility (Desired)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
