Description
LHH is seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our client's team in Everett, WA.In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure the secure and efficient operation of our banking systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with specific experience in the banking and financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions to support the operations of our banking systems, including core banking applications, online banking platforms, and ATM networks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and develop network architectures that meet the needs of our banking operations.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and security of our banking systems.Implement security measures to protect network systems and data from cybersecurity threats, including compliance with industry regulations such as PCI DSS and FFIEC.
Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to maintain optimal performance and security.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on network-related issues and initiatives.
Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of networking principles and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Familiarity with banking software and systems, such as core banking applications, online banking platforms, and ATM networks.
Experience with compliance standards and regulations applicable to the banking and financial services industry, such as PCI DSS and FFIEC.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
