Overview:

Duties:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures
Take and develop dental xrays
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Experience:

Proficiency in Dentrix software
Knowledge of aseptic techniques in a dental setting
Experience maintaining medical records
Previous work as a dental receptionist is a plus
Understanding of infection control protocols
