    Description
    We're looking for a Materials Coordinator to work with a prominent Oil and Gas company in Carlsbad, NM , on a 1-year contract position.

    * Ensure that all Materials Management activities align with HSE, SOX, Internal Control Standards, and the Procurement Policy
    * Responsible for the accuracy of New Stock Set-Up and data integrity in SAP
    * Expedite all SAP goods movements promptly to meet business requirements and ensure accurate SAP transactions reflect physical material movements
    * Document and report savings/value contributed to inventory/materials management
    * Engage the field through site visits, acting as a subject matter expert (SME), and setting expectations with the field
    * Collaborate closely with the Global Materials Management organization to ensure alignment and standardization
    * Take ownership of all materials compliance reports for the business
    * Participate in company networks, share information, leverage best practices, and maintain functional excellence

    Requirements:
    * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent
    * 2+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
    * Proficiency in communication, PowerPoint, and SAP
    * Ability to collaborate effectively with various functional areas including engineering/operations, finance, accounting, SAP support, procurement service center, and upper management
    * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a positive, results-oriented attitude
    * Proficient in leadership, time-management, and people-skills
