GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Coordinator under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications will work to help improve brand awareness and achieve business goals by acting as the day-to-day point of contact for multiple internal marketing projects while also managing social media content and calendars and developing and delivering consistent brand messaging as Gesher Human Services moves into its future.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications or related field preferred
Other:
At least 2-5 years of applicable experience in marketing, communications, public relations, and/or social media
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Experience with research using data analytics software a plus
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of / experience in graphic design software a major plus
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools preferred
Flexibility with changes in task and priorities along with using sound judgment
Able to multitask and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work interdepartmentally to facilitate marketing needs for all Gesher programs and services
Assist with marketing needs for departmental, programmatic, and agency-wide events
Support Director of Marketing & Communications in managing external vendors to ensure high-quality work, timely execution of marketing programs, and competitiveness, and to identify and execute project needs and specifications on an ongoing basis
Manage social media accounts, including campaign ideation and execution
Analyze social media insights to determine wins and trends, as well as proactively identify and develop avenues for future success
Work with Director of Marketing & Communications to create and maintain marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
Work with publication vendors for timely ad submissions
Work with print house to ensure timely and accurate printing and dissemination of correspondence
Work with design vendor and Director of Marketing & Communications to ideate and create marketing collateral to help support departmental needs (e.g. fundraising events)
Support Director of Marketing & Communications in designing and launching email marketing fundraising campaigns in tandem with development department and vendors as needed
Primarily own Constant Contact correspondence with oversight and approvals from Director of Marketing & Communications
Assist in maintaining website information (homepage carousel graphics, event information, News section, etc.)
Support on-site at events and media opportunities as needed
An "all hands-on deck" attitude and willingness to jump in and be a part of a greater agency team
This could include:
overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, ordering marketing collateral, event support, and all other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental conditions:
Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
Ability to work in a confined area.
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, reach, stoop, kneel to install computer equipment.
Light to moderate lifting in required.
