In total, around 5,200 employees work for the people who are cared for and supported in our facilities.


We are currently seeking a
Care Assistant (m/f/d) for our protected day care for people with dementia at the
Hieronymus-Hofer-Haus Senior Center in Bonsall, CA.

Our day care is characterized by our commitment to providing respectful and empathetic care for people with dementia. We place particular emphasis on implementing Naomi Feil's validation approach.


Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Engaging and caring for people with dementia
  • Group activities
  • Individual activities
  • Basic and treatmentrelated nursing tasks
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Documentation

Requirements

We expect from you:


  • Completion of a oneyear training program as a certified nursing assistant or nursing aide
  • Willingness to engage and care for people with dementia according to their wishes and needs
  • Respect and empathy
