As a Media/Website Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in spreading the word about our exceptional products and creating unforgettable experiences for our valued customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and Executing marketing strategies
  • Planning Curated cannabis content
  • Manage social media Algorithms, SEO, Cannabis Content Regulations
  • Creating 13 month Content Calendar
  • Ecommerce Activations and Website Management
  • Managing Marketing Team to execute tasks effectively
Main tasks


Execute marketing strategies:


  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement innovative marketing campaigns that align with our brand's values and target audience. Your creativity will shine as you contribute to developing engaging promotions, digital advertising, social media content, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the sales team and provide instructions on their use or promotion
  • Work closely with various departments, including sales, operations, and compliance, to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive and aligned with company goals. Support crossfunctional initiatives and maintain open communication to drive collective success.

Content creation and curation:


  • Create compelling and informative content that educates and engages our customers about the benefits and variety of cannabis products.
  • Develop blog posts, product descriptions, graphic design, video content, and social media activation while adhering to industry regulations and guidelines.

Social media management:


  • Oversee our social media platforms, including _
    Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more_. Social media expertise is crucial to curating engaging content, responding to customer inquiries, and fostering a positive online community.

Creating Content Calendars:


  • A social media content calendar needs to be regularly updated and maintained to maximize our reach to a local audience.

Ecommerce Activation and Website Management

  • Needs to design and build our website for both AGA locations
  • Needs to maintain our websites for accuracy and updates.
  • Need to have a plan of action on how to use our Website and Ecommerce to drive sales, educate our customers, and work with our social media platforms to maximize our local reach

Requirements:


Education:


  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred. Relevant coursework or specialization in digital marketing can be beneficial.

Cannabis Industry Knowledge:


  • Familiarity with the cannabis industry is essential to understand its unique challenges, regulations, and target audience. Knowledge of products, strains, consumption methods, and current market trends can be valuable. Proven experience in marketing in a regulated industry will be evaluated as an asset.

Marketing experience:


  • Prior experience in marketing, advertising, or related roles is usually required. This may include experience with digital marketing, social media management, content creation, market research, campaign planning, and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging and informative content.
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign performance.
  • Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and the legal landscape is preferred but not required.
  • Creative thinking, problemsolving abilities, and a passion for staying updated on marketing trends and best practices.

Project coordination:


  • Strong organizational and project management skills are necessary to plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns within deadlines and budgets. The ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work in a fastpaced environment is often required.
  • Collaboration and teamwork are essential in marketing coordinator roles. Working effectively with crossfunctional teams, agencies, vendors, and external partners is vital for successful campaign implementation.
