Rolling Hills Country Day School is an independent K-8 school located on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Our entry level position is best suited for someone who has an interest in many aspects of technology as support for our current Director of Technology.

The chance to learn from a experienced expert with an extensive technology background is an incredible opportunity. No formal experience is required, but you will be asked to be adaptable and flexible with your work orders. Many tasks will require you to do repetitive tasks and "grunt" work.

The purpose of the position of Technology Assistant is to provide maximum benefits from the use of computers, other technology and software, and by supporting the school's curriculum plan, while maintaining and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure and software used by students and teachers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Execute deployment of technology projects.
• Provide assistance and directions to help teachers utilize computer and other technology equipment in their classrooms.
• Setup or relocate technology equipment, as necessary.
• Knowledge of other technical equipment such as web cameras, document cameras, printers, audiovideo presentation systems, and other components as they are introduced to the school technology program is preferred.
• Maintain inventory of school technology equipment and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer and technology issues.
