Where you come in:


  • You will maintain and represent a high degree of professionalism during interaction with customers, partners, vendors, and company personnel. Help facilitate and manage onsite visitors; determine the nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel. Monitor visitor access and issue passes when required.
  • You will order, receive, maintain and organize office supplies and stock break areas as required. Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are available as required. Prepare orders for supplies and work with vendors to optimize delivery timing and amount. Maintain office equipment, schedule maintenance as required.
  • You will receive, sort and route mail and packages. Match invoices with packing slips. Perform local receiving and shipping functions. Interface with San Diego receiving and account payables departments following the appropriate process for receiving goods and payments to vendors.
  • You will maintain physical presence at the office for maintenance, repair, deliveries, suppliers, visitors, etc.
  • You will provide support to vendors/contractors such as property management, security, and janitorial staff.
  • You will manage and arrange for hosting corporate visitors, as well as internal events and meetings.
  • You will coordinate with outside vendors (hotels, etc.) for meeting and event venue planning, as well as establishing relationships with local institutions for Dexcom preferred pricing.
  • You will order engineering supplies as requested by office staff to support development work.
  • You will provide administrative and clerical support to office managers or supervisors as requested. Maintain a database with employee contact information; ensuring information is readily available in emergency or during fire drills. Create and print internal memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as appropriate.
  • You will interface with Dexcom San Diego office as appropriate to ensure consistency of site activities and management, prompt delivery of communications, logistics assistance and other services as required.
  • You will assume and perform other duties as assigned.

  • You have experience maintaining strict confidentiality of documents, contracts, visitors log, and any other confidential information.
  • You have experience organizing local offsite meetings, communication events, and celebrations.
  • Your have proficiency in event planning.
  • You have maintained and represented a high degree of professionalism during interaction with customers, vendors, and company personnel.
  • You normally receive little instruction on daily work, general instruction on newly introduced assignments.
  • You have the ability to occasionally work extended hours (evenings/weekends) if requested with advance notice.

Experience and Education Requirements:


  • Typically requires a minimum of 46 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
