We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at Hunzinger Williams Awnings company, a leading awning manufacturing and installation company.

The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team in achieving their goals by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:


Customer Interaction:
Greet and assist customers in the showroom or over the phone.
Provide information about our awning products, services, and pricing.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Schedule appointments for potential clients to meet with our sales team.


Administrative Support:

Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining customer records.
Prepare and maintain sales documents, contracts, and proposals.
Coordinate and schedule sales meetings and appointments.
Keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-maintained.


Sales Support:

Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads and inquiries.
Assist in preparing sales presentations and materials.
Track and manage customer leads and contacts using CRM software.
Assist in processing sales orders and ensuring accurate order details.
Assist with the preparation of sales proposals and contracts


Product Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
Attend product training sessions to understand the features, benefits, and options of our awning products.


Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing and installation, to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales support role is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to team goals.
  • Positive attitude, selfmotivated, and a willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
