Description
:Essential Job Functions:
- Lifting boxes with electric pallet jack
- Visually identifying and recognizing dangerous and prohibited goods
- Ability to load and unload pallets
- Ability to load and unload trucks
- Ability to identify dangerous, hazardous and prohibited goods based on package markings
- Ability to inspect images based on criteria such as colors and shapes
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to operate xray equipment
- Ability to understand and retain knowledge of standard operating procedures
- Ability to successfully complete on the job training and certification process
- Inspection skills
- Basic PC skills are required (i.e., keyboarding skills, basic mouse usage, opening and closing programs and files using MS Windows)
Equipment and Technology:
- Operate manual and electric pallet jack
- Ability to work within a laptop/desktop computer
- Handheld Barcode Scanner
- Weight Scales
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with operation of basic hand tools
- Machine experience is a plus
- See and identify colors
- X-Ray Inspection experience is preferred
