As a Snap Engineering team member, you'll help us build the future of communication.We're looking for a Growth Engineering Manager to join Snap
What you'll do:
Create and manage cross-platform (iOS, Android, Backend) product and engineering roadmaps that will enable the foundations of our responsible growth product strategy
Influence key decisions and tradeoffs on architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions
Create notification campaigns and products that are used by hundreds of millions of Snapchatters
You'll manage engineers across different locations, and collaborate with leaders and executives across Snap to deliver the highest quality for our product
Closely collaborate with PMs in order to translate product requirements into technical designs, which are then turned into engineering roadmaps
Build and grow a team of exceptional software engineers and technical leaders and be a strong technical mentor
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong computer science fundamentals and technical skills
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and represent the team's goals and projects with cross-functional business partners and leaders
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience 6
2+ years managing teams of software engineers
7+ years of experience working in software engineering
Experience with large scale distributed systems and data pipelines
Experience with backends that power mobile apps
Preferred Qualifications
:
10+ years of experience working in software engineering
Experience with product development in the growth space
Experience with Machine Learning ranking systems

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) ) :
The base salary range for this position is $222,000-$333,000 annually.
Zone B ) :
The base salary range for this position is $211,000-$316,000 annually.
Zone C ) :
The base salary range for this position is $189,000-$283,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
