Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a
Project Management Level 2/ Principal Project Management Level 3 to
join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position will be located
onsite in
Redondo Beach, California.

Our Project Managers manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the F35 Sustainment IPT to ensure suppliers are supporting quoted lead times, contractual delivery dates, Master Repair Agreements (MRA) and other IPT objectives
  • Work with supplier management teams to develop, execute, and track negotiation strategies and performance to budget baselin
  • Facilitate meetings across functional teams to identify risks, establish mitigation plans, and perform activities related to issue recovery plannin
  • Perform roles and responsibilities related to Control Account Manager (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Basic Qualifications:


Level 2:


  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree a minimum of 3 years or 1 year of experience with a Masters Degree of combined experience in any of the following: Supply Chain; Project Management, Program Management; Program Scheduling; Program Cost Analysis; Subcontracts Administration; Procurement; Engineering; or Manufacturing Engineering OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning or accounting

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Experience
Subcontracts and/or procurement experience
Experience in Supplier Management
Familiarity with the F-35 Program
Control Account Management (CAM) experience
Adept in developing products in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint


Level 3:


  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree a minimum of 6 years or 4 years of experience with a Masters Degree of combined experience in any of the following: Supply Chain; Project Management, Program Management; Program Scheduling; Program Cost Analysis; Subcontracts Administration; Procurement; Engineering; or Manufacturing Engineering OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning or accounting

Salary Range:
$72,100 - $108,100


Salary Range 2:
$88,700 - $133,100

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
