We are looking for a
social pedagogue (m/f/d) for our Ambulatory Child and Youth Services / Flexible Childcare Services in Twin Falls, ID starting on May 1st, 2023.

The position can be between 25 and 39 hours per week and is permanent.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaboration within a team
  • Independent and responsible work in ambulatory services (services according to sections 18, 30, 31, 34, 35, 35a and 30 in conjunction with 41 of the Social Code Book VIII are possible)
  • Independent planning and structuring of services and implementation of goals agreed upon in the care plan
  • Coaching, support, guidance and counseling on topics such as education, daily structure, household management, authorities, and finances
  • Networking (kindergartens, schools, counseling centers, etc.)
  • Close cooperation with youth welfare offices and other institutions
  • Examination of services and ensuring the wellbeing of the child according to section 8a of the Social Code Book VIII

Requirements:


  • Degree in social pedagogy
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families
  • Knowledge of the Social Code Book VIII
  • Experience working with a systemic approach
  • Experience working with mentally ill adults and children
  • Strong ability for structured and independent work
  • Commitment, flexibility, and reliability
  • Proficient in mobile data processing and MS Office
