- Review and moderate user-generated content submitted through the Kooth platform in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Ensure that all content meets ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, particularly those relevant to mental health counseling in Illinois.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to users on their submissions when appropriate.
- Collaborate with other team members to address any content-related issues or concerns.
- Engaging in an evidence- and data-informed approach to clinical care.
- Participate in regular audits and commit to continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Liaise with other professionals around safeguarding issues and concerns.
- Support operational aspects of Kooth to ensure consistent, reliable, and repeatable experiences.
- Performing all duties in line with relevant compliance, legal requirements, and internal policies with particular reference to children, young people, and adult safeguarding and protection, and data protection legislation.
- Communicate with other healthcare providers as appropriate to provide a seamless care experience.
- Attend and effectively contribute to clinical supervision.

- Attend and effectively contribute to both performance management and team meetings.

OUR MISSION: To provide welcoming and effective digital mental health support to students proactively.
Using the collective insight from nearly 1 million hours of professional intervention, we guide students to three areas of evidenced-based support: self-guided, community/peer interactions, and chat-based counseling provided by licensed Counselors. These areas of assistance are designed to match each individual student's current needs, wants and goals as well as identify and refer to higher level of care when needed.
A role with Kooth is an exciting opportunity to join the pioneers of digital mental health and wellbeing. Through online counseling you will be helping to provide youth and students with access to immediate and often crucial support. Kooth uses technology to remove any barriers that could prevent students from accessing the help that they need.
While students have 24/7 access to Kooth's digital programs, messages and content can be created at any time. This role will be a full-time position focused on providing moderation services to users who are working through the platform.
You will be at the heart of what Kooth is doing.
Role Objective: Help individuals develop achievable and measurable goals, monitor success, and motivate behavioral change. Provide on-platform behavioral health care to youth and young adults (ages accessing the service.

Qualifications/License Requirements Include the Following:
· Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
· An active license in social work, counseling or a related field with no restrictions in IL is required.
· Additional stat licenses in PA or KY preferred but not required.
· Experience providing mental health counseling or therapy to individuals, preferably within a digital or online setting.
· Strong understanding of ethical and legal considerations relevant to counseling practice in IL.
· Bilingual (Spanish) Clinicians are a plus.
The hourly rate for this role will be approximately $35-$45 based on experience.
