Description

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Head of School with daytoday tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Purchasing
  • Light Marketing
  • Managing the school calendar, staff schedules, and substitutes.
  • Conduct research to identify grant opportunities and prepare grant proposals.
  • Plan events, meetings, and other projects as needed.
  • Covering staff breaks if needed.
  • Gate Assistance
  • Assist the Head of School with vendor management
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front office, break rooms, and common areas on campus

Qualifications:

  • Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to communicate gracefully with clients, students & staff.
  • Must dress and present in a professional manner.
  • Must be courteous and willing to work with parents, children, and staff in all capacities
  • Must exercise good judgement in the resolution of campus or administrative complications
  • Should have knowledge of CA Title 22 and Licensing requirements
  • Must pass background check and DOJ fingerprint review per licensing requirements
  • Must submit recent health screening & TB test
  • Experience in administrative assistance, fundraising, and event planning
  • Proficiency in operating office equipment, phones, ipads, and Mac
  • Strong clerical skills
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking abilities, and independent project management capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of Montessori education is beneficial but not required
  • Must have a degree in ECE, Education, Child Development or related field

Pay:
$60, $70,000.00 per year

Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)

  • Oakland, CA 94610: Relocate before starting work (required)
