The Colony, TX **Bartender**

**Summary of position**

The Bartender is the embodiment of service. There is no request too extreme and no attitude you cant turn around. You love food, trying new things and helping our guests navigate our adventurous menu. You will be responsible for providing outstanding service to the guest before anything else.

You will be responsible for providing outstanding service to the guest before anything else. You will also responsible for ensuring that our standards are met and training that standard to new hires. Everything we do from the moment we walk into our doors is about our guests.

**Key accountabilities**

The primary accountabilities for this position include:

Assist the other bartenders monitoring and coordinating the day to day operations of his/her bar during each shift, and ensures all FOH SOPs (including HACCP) are duly followed and fully executed.

Has the ability to motivate and engage and ensure systems are being utilized when training

Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role

**Ensures spotless service is delivered to all guests anytime, and that their needs and expectations are fulfilled to the highest level and down to the smallest details.**

Pro-actively greet guests warmly and provide pleasant and comfortable experience.

Maintain a current knowledge of bar inventory and mixed drink recipes.

Have an outstanding understanding of wine, cocktails, beers.

Communicate effectively with restaurant manager, servers and host/hostess as appropriate to ensure the guest experience is as enjoyable and effortless as possible.

Engage guests with a pleasant greeting and take drink orders in accordance with Windmills Craftworks bar service standards.

Must be TABC certified or similar State requirement

Check food before serving it to the guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.

Follow Windmills Craftworks beverage standards and procedures, using Windmills Craftworks training manual.

Perform all duties in a safe manner and monitor those actions of others.
