System Support Specialist
We are currently seeking a part time dedicated and driven System Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is part-time and year-round.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of technological transformation efforts at America's premier road course facility, contributing to the seamless operation of our systems and infrastructure.


As a System Support Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in providing prompt and accurate technical support to our users and clients.

From configuring and maintaining computer hardware and software to educating users on system changes, your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations.

Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies and interact with individuals from various backgrounds on a daily basis, making each day both challenging and rewarding.

Here are some key responsibilities you can expect in this role:

  • Providing prompt and accurate technical support to users and clients.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
  • Educating users on hardware and software changes.
  • Completing help desk requests promptly and accurately.
  • Diagnosing technical issues and determining appropriate next steps.
  • Deploying and maintaining enduser devices.
  • Assisting with event setup and tear down, ensuring all technology is working properly.
  • Prioritizing and working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Assisting in technology projects, such as deploying new technology or updating existing systems.
  • An Associate's Degree in Computer Science or in the process of obtaining one.
  • 2+ years of experience working on a help desk support team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical issues to nontechnical individuals.
  • Technical experience in network cabling installation, network installation and configuration, wireless installations and configurations, PC installations and configurations, Point of Sale terminal installation and configuration, Point of Sale terminal software configurations and troubleshooting, and Phone System installations and configurations.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn unfamiliar systems and stay informed of new technologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, selfmotivation, and the ability to handle multiple problems in highpressure situations.
