Come work with us The LA Jung Institute is seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant/Office Manager.

This is a key position responsible for the overall management of the administrative and operational functions of the Institute, including the implementation of our internal and public programs through event coordination, public program registry, and more.

Excellent people skills, as well as attention to detail, are essential.

We are a small, modern office with a local and global impact through our sliding fee psychology clinic, analyst training program, public program lecture series, and specialized library services for the international Jungian community.

This position requires administrative management, creative problem-solving, and warmth toward the diverse people that attend our Institute. A keen interest in Jungian psychology is a plus


Non-Exhaustive List of Duties:

  • Answer and screen phone calls, take messages and respond to inquiries.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Manage front desk operations, including receiving and distributing mail and packages.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Vet and engage vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Directors, and Members of the Institute, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and dealing with patients and clients.
  • Create, organize, and maintain physical and electronic files.
  • Execute marketing strategies (print and digital).
  • Assist with special projects and events as assigned.

Experience:


  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. HIPAAcompliance.
  • Knowledge of phone systems and office equipment.
  • Techsavvy.
  • Knowledge of C.G. Jung's psychology is a plus.

Pay:
From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Google Suite: 5 years (preferred)
Microsoft Excel: 10 years (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Los Angeles, CA 90064: Relocate before starting work (required)
