Job Posting – Director of DevelopmentMake a difference for Northside youth - Lundstrum Performing Arts is seeking a Director of Development to support the mission and growth of this performing arts training center based in North Minneapolis.
This is a full-time, in-office position with full benefits.Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director of Development is a key member of Lundstrum's leadership team, responsible for crafting and executing the fundraising strategy to support the organization's mission and growth.
This role demands a proactive and visionary leader who will be integral in securing the financial resources necessary to expand our impact and sustain our programs.
Located in North Minneapolis for more than 90 years, Lundstrum Performing Arts offers exceptional arts experiences to thousands of students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Key Responsibilities for this position include strategic fundraising planning and management of annual and special project campaigns, building strong relationships with a diverse group of donors and prospects, and overseeing donor communications, major gift program, annual fund, grants and fundraising events.
Position Qualifications·

Strong track record of achieving tangible fundraising outcomes in a competitive field.
·
Three+ years of professional experience in nonprofit fundraising, experience with the arts or educational sectors preferred.
·
Demonstrated success in managing and forging relationships with institutional and individual donors.
·
Experience in planning and leading strategic fundraising initiatives, including grantwriting, major gifts, events; capital campaign experience a plus.
·
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse groups including staff, students, donors, and board members.
·
Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
·
Proficient in using fundraising technology and donor databases, with a keen understanding of data-driven fundraising strategies.
·
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
·
Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and needs.
·
Available some evenings and weekends for selected campaign events.
