Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments and update necessary records
- Assist with patient checkin and checkout processes
- Knowledge of insurances and insurance verifications.
- Knowledge of PCP and changing PCP
- Handle phone calls, inquiries, and requests efficiently
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Perform basic medical administrative support tasks
- Assist with medical coding and billing procedures
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Knowledge of vital signs and basic patient care procedures
- Experience with X-Ray procedures and medication administration is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Prior experience in medical reception or related field preferred
- Must be Bilingual/Spanish
Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
