*CNC Machinist and Programmer**Eastlake, OH**$50K-$70K

*Permanent

*Description: The company are seeking a skilled individual to program and operate CNC machines, specifically Mori Seiki and Charmilles Micron models, utilizing Surf-CAM and/or Master-CAM applications. The role entails responsibility for designing and validating CNC holding fixtures/methods, troubleshooting daily production CNC program issues, and refining machining methods.

*Responsibilities:

Operate multiple machines simultaneously (2 or more CNC).
Program machines while maintaining standard operational rates.
Train others in CNC machine operation.
Conduct occasional bluelight inspections.
Provide assistance as needed and foster a collaborative team environment with clear communication channels.
Interpret complex airfoil blueprints accurately.
Adjust machine settings to meet desired specifications.
Conduct test runs and make adjustments until products align with blueprint specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, maintaining precise component records.
Conduct quality assurance inspections on machinery and products.
Plan and forecast stock needs, ordering supplies as necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:

Proficiency in advanced CNC programming in both virtual and direct interfaces.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret complex airfoil blueprints effectively.
Demonstrated ownership mentality and dedication to meeting deadlines.
Positive work attitude conducive to effective communication and collaboration with customers, clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
Extensive background in airfoil layout inspection, CNC machining/programming, or tool building preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Unigraphics, PC-DMIS, Master-CAM/Surf-CAM.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
