Description

A leading respiratory oxygen provider is looking for a high energy level with positive attitude CDL driver with HAZMAT to join our growing team in MD.

Responsible for delivering medical oxygen and related equipment to customers by preparing, loading, unloading, operating and maintaining orderly records according to company procedures.

• Prepare truck for operation by inspecting general condition according to company guidelines. Reports any necessary repairs needed to Supervisor.
• Loads truck by ordering, placing and securing items.
• Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
• Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints; adjusting orders.
• Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
• Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans trucks interior.
• Maintains delivery, truck and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance forms.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Maintains the Company's professional reputation to customers, the public and company employees.

• Must have excellent communication skills in a customer driven environment, dependable, professional and work independently.
• Able to be flexible with hours of operation and the willingness to work overtime and on call hours as scheduled.
• Oxygen and related equipment delivery experience preferred but willing to train the right individual.
• Ability to pass preemployment drug and background check.
