What You'll Do:


As the Transaction Advisory Director, you will manage all transaction advisory service offerings, including business planning, business development, project execution, and team leadership.

You're a collaborative leader who thinks about the big picture and can take strategic thinking into tactical. You're detail-oriented and invigorated by solving our client's most challenging problems. You leverage the latest tools, technologies, and best practices to create action and traction in the face of ambiguity.

To succeed in this position, you must have extensive knowledge of independent engineering, technical due diligence, environmental due diligence, construction oversight, and market analysis to independent power producers, developers, private equity firms, lenders, and financial institutions.


Key responsibilities will include the following:

You'll collaborate with our Managing Directors and Business Line Directors to set financial targets for all transaction advisory-related services, such as sales, revenue, and profitability.

You'll work with leadership to define key objectives and align business plans with our brand's goals and mission.

You'll work with the leadership team to prepare and manage a business plan for the strategic growth of these services across multiple business lines, including expansion of current and new service offerings, marketing activities, client retention and acquisition, and a staff growth plan.


You're at the forefront of business development and sales, coordinating with the leadership team and business development managers on marketing trips, conferences, opportunity identification, and proposals to strategically grow these service offerings.

You will collaborate with project managers to ensure coverage of key client relationships to grow transaction advisory services. You'll lead contract preparation and negotiations.

In some instances, you'll serve as a project manager, leading all aspects of project execution, including scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure quality control of deliverables.

You'll analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to all internal and external stakeholders. You're confident in leading multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts. Your communication and planning skills are vital in aligning expectations with our business objectives.


You'll facilitate timely, quality, and profitable execution of projects across multiple business lines and serve as project director and quality control leader for deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of science in engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, finance, business, or a related field from an accredited program is required.
  • Minimum of 13 years of experience.
  • Expert knowledge within the fields of consulting, energy, power, and/or utilities, with a preference for experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Independent engineer services, Technical due diligence, Lender's technical advisor, Owner's engin
