Duties:

• Maintain and evolve computer systems and networks
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software, operating systems, and computer hardware

- monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading the network, virtual servers, PCs, cell phones, printers, scanners, VoIP phones and other equipment
- providing user assistance and communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences

• Support company migration from desktop office implementations to MS 36
• Set up and troubleshoot VPN connections for remote users
• Assist with firewall configuration and maintenance
• Protect organizational information through Antivirus, security and backups
• Set up and troubleshoot mobile phones, hand scanners, label printers and other such electronic equipment
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
• Provide excellent customer service to endusers
• Document and troubleshoot problems and escalating solutions with vendors
• Explore opportunities to add value to the evolution of the company

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS)
• Experience with VPN setup and troubleshooting
• Understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of computer networking concepts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environment
• Experience setting up and maintaining cloudclient antivirus solutions
• Ability to maintain and edit Wordpress website
• Excellent customer service skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Working towards or graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
• Understanding of and experience implementing and maintaining networking technologies such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and cloudbased servers
• Experience programming and maintaining switches and firewalls
• Experience configuring and maintaining an Active Directory, and conversion to AzureAD/EntraID
• Experience monitoring and supporting security solutions (Sentinel One or similar)
• Ability to maintain and edit company Wordpress site
• Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with internal staff

Preferred Skills
Networking knowledge, security, scripting, setting backup plans, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with:
Microsoft Office 365, Linux, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Wordpress
