Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Receipt, Storage, Issuance and Movement of products, supplies and other materials and equipment. per company's established policies and procedures.
  • Shipping and receiving,
  • Unloading trucks,
  • Stock materials correctly.
  • Unloading & loading trailers using material handling equipment.
  • Compare identifying information and counts, weigh or measure items against packing list.
  • Input parts and materials into computer systems
  • Prepare receiving reports as requested.
  • Maintaining Computerized MRP Inventory and Work Order System.
  • Timely and accurate stocking, protection and preservation of materials received.
  • Cycle counting of inventory.
  • Monitoring availability of Floor Stock materials.
  • Maintaining parts and equipment in storage.
  • Administering Shelf-Life program.
  • Ensure stock is available as needed by Production Associates and other IS&S employees with a spirit of cooperation and urgency.
  • Filling parts requisitions for shop and customer orders, while interfacing with computer systems to locate parts and materials.
  • Kitting of work orders for production and prototype builds.
  • Issuing material under Material Requisitions and in process work order shortages.
  • Ships product out of warehouse and prepares shipping paperwork.
  • Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
  • Pack containers, using protective materials.
  • Experience Using UPS; FedEx; and Other Freight Carriers online shipping systems to process shipping requirements.
  • Maintaining Shipping Logs and other data records.
  • Expediting customer orders.
  • Performing necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe & organized working environment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with mínimal supervision. Using Microsoft Office programs, as necessary.

Requirements:


Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of materials handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Data entry/computer knowledge.
  • Experience with ISO 9000.
  • Ability to lift up to 40#.
  • Capable of reading small print.
  • Shift varies between standing, walking, reaching, sitting, bending and lifting.
