Description

As an environmental engineer, you are not afraid of legal texts and regulations and are well-versed in the areas of occupational safety, environmental protection, and fire protection.

We are looking for an employee for the position of environmental engineer (m/f/d) at our Wössingen plant in Brooklyn Park. As an environmental engineer, you will be responsible for creating sustainability reports, developing a biodiversity management plan, and furthering emission control concepts. You will also train employees and monitor compliance with CO2 emission limits.

Do you have a degree in engineering with a focus on environmental protection, circular economy, process engineering, or a similar field? Are you able to work independently and do environmental issues matter to you? Then we look forward to receiving your application.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring occupational safety, environmental protection, and fire protection in your area of responsibility
  • Assuming the role of environmental management system officer according to ISO 14001 and waste management officer
  • Preparing reports for sustainability reporting and other legal requirements
  • Developing biodiversity management plans and emission control concepts
  • Training employees on environmental issues
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
  • Maintaining the legal register
  • Supervising external companies for emission measurements, sampling, etc.
