    Job Description** Role is responsible for all EHS initiatives within the Northeast Region Sales function.

    • Responsibilities include ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of company-wide EHS programs and systems Interface and negotiation with federal, state and local government agencies (EPA, DOT, OSHA)
    • Investigate EHS incidents and manage regulatory investigation/inspection and enforcement actions.
    • Organize, execute and lead EHS audits
    • Support workers compensation claim management while ensuring the utilization of preferred medical providers and execution of Frito-Lay's Return-To-Work program.
    • Ability to support Fleet/DOT programs and deliver strong defensive driving training initiatives
    • Execute within an EHS budget process
    • Ability to perform risk assessments and determine plausible corrective actions
    • Ability to lead risk reduction initiatives
    • Analyze data trends & performance to ensure that the right priorities are identified and acted upon
    • Identify issues, coach and lead field locations in development of a corrective action plan to address root basic causes and management system weak-spots through the use of industry-recognized cause analysis techniques (5-Why, etc.)
    • Conduct periodic site visits and EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and company EHS processes and policies.

    Candidate Must Have the Ability to:

    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results driven, team-oriented environment
    • Maintain confidentiality

    • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills
    • Handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
    • Travel up to 50%-60% (dependent on business needs and fluctuation)

    Qualifications/Requirements** Minimum Bachelor Degree (BS in Occupational Health & Safety or ASP/CSP is a plus)

    • Three
    Five years' experience managing and implementing EHS programs

    • Minimum of Three years of direct supervisory experience
    • Ability to manage multi-locations and EHS programs and people
    • Knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations
    • Excellent oral and written communications, including speaking/presenting before large audiences. Self-motivated, high performer
    • Role must sit within the Northeast Region
