    Description

    We are in search of a Director of Nursing (DoN) to join our team and lead the delivery of top-notch care to our patients.

    As the DoN, you will have a vital role in driving the success and expansion of our home health services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring adherence to regulations, and upholding high standards of patient care. This position is full-time and based in Chicago, Illinois.

    • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and put into action policies and procedures to guarantee top-quality home health services for patients
    • Supervise all nursing operations, such as patient assessments, care plans, and care coordination
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, along with company policies
    • Assess and enhance the performance of nursing staff, providing continuous training and development
    • Work together with other healthcare experts to create and execute effective care plans
    • Maintain precise and current patient records and documentation
    • Take part in the recruitment and onboarding of nursing staff
    • Manage the nursing department's budget and ensure resource efficiency
    • Keep updated on industry trends, suggesting enhancements and growth opportunities

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
    • Additional healthcare licensure may be necessary. Certifications like CHCE or CPHM are favorable
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in home health nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
    • Familiarity with state and federal regulations for home health services
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems in a dynamic setting
    • Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare software. Knowledge of EHRs is advantageous
    • Passion for delivering top-quality care to patients at home
