RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
Devise sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and recording quality and reliability data.
Communicates the job to and with the Fabrication Shop Manager, General Foremen, Foreman, and Shop Manager, and Material / Warehouse Manager.
Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production, equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and device methods to access cost and responsibility.
Complies and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
Keep updated QA/QC Manual for the Fabrication Shop and its implementation.
ASME Quality Manual for "R", "S", and "U" stamps.
ASME Quality Manual for "NPT" and "NA" stamps.
NDT and stress relieving requirements and scheduling and monitor all third party Inspection Services.
Documentation kept that meets all standards and guidelines required for the Fabrication Shop Facility Manual, ASME Quality Manuals, and the QA/QC Manual.
